February 2023 Trip

I can’t believe another trip has come and gone! It was so busy, so crazy, and SO SO GOOD! Here are the things we accomplished this time around!

  • Finished tile in the school’s kitchen

  • organized and cleaned the 2 classrooms

  • Painted the inside of the kitchen, brightening it up tremendously!

  • Connecting with the kids, gifting new soccer balls, and sharing with them how much we value school and education!

  • 4 families received bathrooms and showers with running water

  • assembled school supplies and gifted scholarships to 30 children who otherwise wouldn’t have been able to attend school

  • Made awesome friends and connections within the trip participant group as well as with the community

  • Taught some english to students

  • Trash clean up on the road to the school

  • Saved 50+ sea turtles

  • Re-keyed the front gate to the school

  • Painted a beautiful mural outside of the kitchen

  • created reusable chalk boards for the kids to use in school

MAN it was such a wonderful trip! We had a blast with the families that joined us and feel honored that 32 people were willing to take a leap of faith and experience the magic of Guatemala with us. We can’t wait to see what we accomplish this June!
